Explore some of our projects in London.
We work with museums, embassies and schools, and in community projects, public parks and private gardens. The connecting thread in our work is the strong, ongoing relationships we built with clients, and our dedication to low-carbon, wildlife-friendly practices.
Boutcher School
Mulch London has been volunteering at this school, running after-school clubs to teach the older children gardening skills.
Boutcher received funding to set up a forest school and appointed MASH studios to design the project. Mulch London were asked to demolish the derelict structures and install a woven tunnel, pond and planting.
Oxley Close
This front driveway de-paving project was designed by a very progressive designer and Mulch London had some input into material choices. The garden features green roof bike stores, walkable planting and UK grown timber.
Octopus Garden
A public realm de-paving project on the corner of a busy road junction. The client raised money to transform the sad concrete area into a lush green oasis for wildlife. Mulch London were actively involved in all stages of the project, from conception to completion to ongoing volunteer maintenance sessions.
Design Museum
Mulch London collaborated closely with the museum’s gardener to prepare the garden for an exhibition. Our work included positioning planters, reconfiguring the raised beds and installing new edging along the paths to enhance both practicality and visual appeal.
German Embassy
Since 2023, Mulch London have been responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the embassy gardens. The embassy has fully embraced our sustainable approach and has commissioned us to implement improvements to the planting scheme and overall garden layout.
“Alex and the team at Mulch London offer a fantastically reliable, high quality and sustainable landscaping service. They have worked on several projects at the Design Museum and we would not hesitate in booking them for future work.”
